With Christmas right around the corner…let’s not forget those that are less fortunate than ourselves. If you want your life to get better, sometimes the best thing you can do is to help improve somebody else’s life. Give a word of encouragement to those you meet during the day!
It is very easy to lose sight of what the true meaning of the holidays is about…it seems as each year passes the world as we know it changes. I am not saying change is a bad thing, for it is through change that we grow.
I just wish that the holidays would remain as there were years ago when I was a little girl. Families getting together and making wonderful memories. Spending time with your grandparents and loved ones. Children playing and laughing. Whatever happen to those days? Where did traditions go?
This Thanksgiving let’s take a moment to reflect on the blessings that we have in our life…
“I once read a quote that went something like this…I woke up sad that I did not have shoes to wear…then I seen someone with no feet! I suddenly became thankful for what I have!”
